All properties in the Village of St. Charles are assessed two Summer and one Winter tax. The Village Summer tax is due and payable July 1st of each year to the Village of St. Charles. A portion of the school and county taxes have been split from the Winter Tax and is due and payable July 1st of each year to St. Charles Township. The Winter Tax is due and payable December 1st of each year to St. Charles Township. All assessing is done by St. Charles Township, and property assessment cards are at their office at 1003 N. Saginaw Street, St. Charles. The St. Charles Township Office hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8-12 & 1-5, and Thursday 8-12.
